Welcome to Dussindale Park

My Name is Rachel McLean, Manager of the wonderful Dussindale Park Care Home.

We are a 48 bedded purpose built nursing Home, where we pride ourselves on our person centred care approach for all our residents and employee centred care for our staff. My team are highly valued and I aim to empower my team to enable them to be the very best that they can be. I bring a wealth of experience of working within a care home environment, I am a compassionate and understanding person, who advocates ‘Quality Care’ for our residents.

Part of my vision is to create a home from home environment, where our residents are not only well cared for, but are actively involved in the running of their home. Together with our dedicated team of nurses, carers and ancillary staff we provide a happy, homely environment where our door is always open to visitors to experience the family friendly atmosphere. We have small but well maintained gardens for everyone to enjoy, including our wonderful greenhouse and raised flower beds.  The surrounding area boasts the stunning Norfolk Broads and English coastline as well as the liveliness of Norwich city centre.

If you are in the Norwich area, just pop in for a coffee, you will always be made welcome.

-People’s dignity and privacy was promoted by staff

-There was an open and positive culture at the home

-People had person centred care assessments
