Welcome to Clumber Court

After spending 26 years in the NHS as a qualified nurse (with the majority of that time spent as a Senior Sister on a neonatal intensive care unit) I decided to branch out into the private sector, I have worked for a recruitment agency and managed care homes, which is where my heart is. I have a passion for delivering excellent care to people who are living with dementia, and supporting their families and friends through their difficult journey.

Clumber Court Care Home is a ‘home’, not just a house and the service and the care team provide, is second to none.

You are always welcome to drop in for a chat, a coffee and sample at life in our home. We provide activities seven days a week, menus to suit all tastes and preferences, plus  person- centred care for residential, nursing and dementia care. The Care Quality Commission have rated our home as GOOD in all categories and we are proud to have achieved the standard.

Visitors and families are always welcome at any time and we can offer advice on any aspect of care with no obligation and we look forward to meeting you.

All recommendations have been submitted through the independent website carehome.co.uk and are subject to the carehome.co.uk terms and conditions

We were delighted with the outcome of the February 2016 CQC inspection and are committed to working with our residents, their families, and Health & Social Care professionals to continually improve and develop our services.

We were pleased with many of the positive observations the CQC noted in their report, including:

-People were able to choose what they ate and were supported to eat independently.

-People’s dignity was maintained and staff responded to people quickly when they showed signs of distress or discomfort.

-People were involved in decisions about their care and were able to access activities they enjoyed.
