Welcome to The Belvedere

My name is Angela Lewis and I am delighted to be the manager of the Belvedere. I became a qualified nurse in 1984 and have worked for the NHS in Staffordshire, Derbyshire and Manchester. In 2006 I joined the private sector and spent 4 years monitoring clinical standards across three hospitals they were in London, Sheffield and Lancashire .Following this role I became registered manager in 2010 and spent the next five years improving quality of care and service delivery

At the Belvedere We focus very much on the individual, identifying needs to enable us to deliver the right care. A high standard of care is delivered by a dedicated team of friendly staff led by a Registered Nurse, weekly GP clinics and effective working relationships with our local PCT provider services.
We are able to offer placements for those suffering with varying degrees of dementia, day care and end of life care. Our continued success has developed through word of mouth. If you would like to find out more, please give me a call, drop by or write to our family and friends team, who will also be glad to help.

All recommendations have been submitted through the independent website and are subject to the terms and conditions

We are committed to continually improving and developing our services. A comprehensive action plan is in place to make improvements to the areas highlighted by the CQC during their June 2016 inspection.

We were pleased with many of the positive observations the CQC noted in their report, including:

  • Observed caring relationships between staff members and the people living in the home.
  • There was a flexible menu in place which provided a good variety of food to the people using the service
  • Visiting relatives told us, “The care is excellent”, “the care is without doubt very good”, “The staff are lovely and I am more than happy with the care given to my father” and “The staff are wonderful, caring and understanding”.
