Welcome to Batley Hall
Hello my name is Tony Jackson and I am the Manager of Batley Hall.
I started working within the care sector in 1979 in learning disabilities & mental health. I spent a great deal of time working within the community settings following the care in the community act. Part of my role within the multidisciplinary team was to ensuring that people with disabilities of all kinds had the support that they needed to fulfil their lives and were supported within their local community rather than the institutions they had previously lived in.
After working within various settings in the community and also in the private sector, I started to concentrate in older people services after my mother had been taken ill and needed some support. I found it difficult to find the best service on the market as some areas where very disappointing with the level of care and support they were willing to offer. I started working within the older people service in 2005 and have tried to dedicate my passion and enthusiasm in ensuring that the people that we support receive the very best quality of care possible from a team of staff that are dedicated to meeting individuals needs first and foremost , and that the time that residents spend in our care homes is one that they look back on with family and friends with fond memories.
Batley Hall provides a wide range of care services, including nursing, respite, intermediate, convalescence and residential/personal. We are continuously reviewing and extending our quality control procedures and systems to ensure that the highest standards are maintained.
Residents enjoy home-cooked, freshly prepared nutritious food, which is tailored to the residents likes and dietary requirements.
