Welcome to Argyle House

I would like to introduce myself, Rita Kaur the home manager for Argyle House; I officially started on the 08/01/2018. I have worked for a cooperate healthcare company approximately for 10 years now. I came to United Kingdom in 2006 and started my career with cooperate healthcare company as a registered nurse and worked my way up.
My mission and vision for Argyle house is to provide high standard of care for the resident, promote person relationship care and continuity of care by retaining staff and develop staff to take more ownership as Countrywide is very proud of their high expectation of training for staff through our robust training system. I believe in open door policy and welcome families to come and speak to me if have any concern with their loved one needs. I am a very approachable and flexible and I want to work together with everyone to drive Argyle House as a home for all resident.

Our aim at Argyle House is to create a homely, relaxed atmosphere where everybody is treated with dignity and respect. We were delighted with the outcome of the June 2016 CQC inspection and are committed to working with our residents, their families, and Health & Social Care professionals to continually improve and develop our services.

We were pleased with many of the positive observations the CQC noted in their report, including:

-Staff had a good understanding of people’s needs and preferences and worked with people to enable them to communicate these.

-People were supported to engage in activities that reflected their interests and supported their physical and mental well-being.

-There were positive interactions between people living at the home and staff.
