The 48-bedded, purpose-built care home, which specialises in offering a number of care types including dementia, palliative, respite and residential care, was highly commended for their excellent service and the warm experience offered to those living with them.
The Carehome.co.uk award winners were selected based on reviews given by family members of those living in the home, and Willowdene Care Home has been named as one of the Top 20 Care Homes in North East England. Comments from those with loved ones in the home have said that the care they’ve witnessed is “professional” and “supportive”.

The Sedgefield-based care home also received the top score of 10/10 for their care offering, with each of their reviews commending the home for their staff’s professionalism and “friendly, caring attitudes.” Another relative commented saying “Mum will be returning to Willowdene, and I feel confident in her being there as I know they will meet her needs in every way possible.”
