We kick started our week with our art therapy class and carried on painting and decorating our “Memory Tree Corner” lettering. On Monday afternoon we had a visit from Boogie Beats to do our fortnightly session. Tuesday morning was chilled out with our relaxation class and one of our residents Barbra Lurner taught us a new technique; to close your mouth, push your tongue to the back of your teeth and to close your eyes and imagine yourself smiling, grinning from ear to ear without actually doing it. She learnt this back whilst doing Tai-Chi. Tuesday afternoon we had entertainment by Kim Alvord, preparing for our Christmas Fair next week. Wednesday we had a Big Bingo session and a visit from Barry the hairdresser. Thursday we had a Sonas session on the ground floor followed by our first Christmas show of the month by Sam Jones. On Friday we finished the week with flowers.
Don’t forget that next week is The Manorhey Care Centres annual Christmas fair so why not pop down grab your self a mince pie, have a go on the tombola and listen to our fantastic entertainment.
