Welcome to Troutbeck Nursing Home
My name is Sarah Ibrahim and I am the Care Manager of Troutbeck Care Home, located in the tranquil Wharfedale Valley on the edge of Ilkley Moor. The home is a 54 bedded nursing and residential home that caters for both long and short term stays.
I qualified as a Registered Nurse in 1996 and have worked within care home management since 2003 completing my Registered Managers Award in November 2004. I have focused heavily on quality and enhancing my knowledge to ensure I can support the team to deliver the best possible care at all times.
It is appreciated and respected that all care homes can be a minefield of choice with variations of preference and availability. At Troutbeck we attempt to support everyone’s individual search and offer an empathetic understanding towards those whom you are supporting in this special journey.
The home is conscious in delivering Person-Centred-Care with a transparent approach to ensure that all aspects of holistic well-being are achieved. We have a dedicated approachable team that endeavours at all times to maintain a positive relationship with our local General Practitioners and external community based specialists.
We are able to offer our services to varying medical, physical and psychological needs following pre-assessment and acknowledging and maintaining professional guidelines within a homely welcoming environment.
