Welcome to Alexandra Court Care Home
My name is Cynthia Underwood and I am proud to be the Registered Manager of Alexandra Court Residential Care Home for the elderly in Thornton, Cleveleys, Lancashire.
Alexandra Court is part of the Maria Mallaband Care Group and we provide residents with a unique facility for residents over the age of 65. I have worked at the home since March 2006, with prior experience as a Care Manager since 2000. My experience in social care spans over 24 years working in the areas of elderly residential care, dementia care and with the visually impaired. Within this time, I have successfully obtained my Registered Managers Award along with a Certificate in Management and completed NVQ 4 in Health and Social Care.
It is my objective to help all residents settle into their new home with us at Alexandra Court by providing the care and support to both the residents and their families, at a stage in their lives that is sometimes, understandably, a difficult one to work through.
