About Monread Lodge Nursing Home

Monread Lodge Nursing Home offers luxurious hotel-style accommodation and high quality care. The nursing home is conveniently situated within walking distance of the town of Knebworth and Woolmer Green, close to the mainline railway station and on a direct bus route. It is a purpose built, single storey care home set within its own mature grounds.

The home provides nursing, dementia, day care, palliative care, residential/personal care and respite care. Monread Lodge offers an excellent service for both nursing and residential care and dementia care. The new dementia unit can accommodate 16 residents in single en-suite bedrooms.

All rooms are single with en-suite facilities, TV points, nurse call system and fire alarm system. Residents can enjoy a spacious conservatory, choice of comfortable lounges and a dining room. There is also a central courtyard with ornamental fishpond. Additional services include hairdressing, social outings, Church services and a varied activities programme.
