Hello my name is Kim Gordon and I am the Registered Manager of Cavendish Court, which is situated in Alderley Edge, Cheshire. I have worked in the health care profession since I left college and completed my GNVQ Advanced in Health and Social Care in 1998. I have worked for Maria Mallaband Care Group for the past six years and have completed my NVQ level 2, 3, and 4, including the Registered Managers Award.
Cavendish Court is a purpose built 43 bedded home and we provide residential and general nursing care including respite, convalescence and palliative care. Since our establishment in 2008, we have become a well-respected care home within the community of Alderley Edge. Our philosophy is to give Cavendish Court a "home from home" feel and to make the transition of change go as smoothly as possible.
Life really does begin at Cavendish Court and our activities are the talk of the village! Our residents really enjoy the freedom of accessing the local community in our minibus and we host annual events for local charities. We also have excellent relationships with the local churches including St Phillips, Methodist Church and St Pius X in Alderley Edge.
