Carmel Lodge Care Home

This afternoon we did some painting which our residents enjoyed and talked about things they used to do.

To celebrate St Georges day we were joined by singer Debbie. She sang many wartimes songs. Lots of residents joined in with the singing and dancing and almost all stood up to sing an encore of “God save the Queen

Continuing with the topic of “St George” we have shared some interesting facts and listened to topical poetry.

This morning we have had lots of fun and games, with bean bags and balls. We had a great exercise class with a slightly higher impact than usual. Followed by a general knowledge quiz and a manicure for the winner.
