Bridge House have been donated some chicken eggs from Merist Wood College Animal Centre so the staff and residents can watch the baby chicks hatch. They are starting them off in the incubator and will take 21 days to hatch, and we will keep everyone informed of their progress.
The incudator and brooder have been kindly loaned to the home by Sandra Gibbard's husband. We will be keeping the chicks after hatching for a few days to allow residents, staff and families to handle them if they wish. The residents are excited to meet the little ones!
