Burns Day

Troutbeck celebrated an early 'Burns Night' this year with a Scottish theme day. We had a Scottish menu including haggis, neaps and tatties and some tipsy laird for pudding. The residents enjoyed a quiz, scottish poems and all sported rosettes made in the previous week, featuring Robbie Burns.

Several of the residents enjoyed tasting the haggis while listening to Scottish folk music. During the afternoon quiz the residents enjoyed shortbread and a drink of scotch whiskey.
