Oaklands had an eventful Christmas and with the residents successful Christmas Party. Thank you to all the kind donations to the Raffle from staff and relatives, everyone was very generous and a great time was had by all. Colin our activities coordinator organised a sing-along which always goes down well and we hope to continue this activity into 2012.
The strong winds welcomed us into 2012 and we are glad to say we had no damage to the property but a big thank you to Les and Denis from maintenance department for their diligence and aftercare of the garden areas. Quite a few branches from trees tormented us for a short time but all was well in the end.
Happy New Year to all and we look forward to 2012 with a positive glow.
