Birch Heath's christmas party was earlier than usual this year. In the morning the local toddler group came to sing carols, then in the afternoon we had mini mince pies with glasses of warm mulled wine. Our friends at Havana nights came to perform for us once again and were enjoyed by everyone. We had relatives come along to join in the fun, but had so many attend we had to shuffle round during the interval.
We had a very special visit from father christmas, who brought a little something for everyone. We all had a beautiful buffet in the dining room topped off with sherry or tea and a gorgeous christmas cake baked by a resident's family and donated for our party.
