Easter at Appletree Care Home
The residents of Appletree Care Home at Meadowfield stated Easter early with an Easter Parade organised by the Activities Organiser, Anne Kidman. The residents enjoyed their parade showing off their hats which they had decorated themselves.
The judges, Father Brian Godsell and Parish Councillor Maureen Smith had the difficult job of picking the best, however a local doctor, Dr Whally appeared on the scene to "give them a hand" and the winners were selected. The afternoons entertainment was provided by Phil Franks, a local singer. The care home's manager, Chrisitine Martin said "our resident's look forward to these afternoons of socialising with the local community and Anne is always on hand with lots of ideas".
